VRRP
EPY Host Networks provides Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol as a service to clients who need an additional redundancy in distribution routers for mission-critical applications. The client has two gateways on each router, which are used to send packets to a backup router in the event of a distribution router failure caused by an IOS upgrade, crash, or hardware malfunction. Customers in need of an additional layer of redundancy may find this extra redundancy useful.
BGP
Border Gateway Protocol is utilized by our clients that require the flexibility to instantly announce IP at a different place, withdraw IP, or remove prefix. In order to utilize the service, other application EPY Host customers must declare any IP they possess or lease in order to be recognized as providers in their own right. This white label approach is excellent since it enables prospective clients to see EPY Host Client as a network operator.
IP Transit
EPY Host offers IP transit services throughout Virginia, Texas, and Southern California via our top-notch fiber optic network.
